Invitation for the International Winter World Cup for GOVERNMENT TEAMS in the Netherlands 2018

Dear colleagues,

 
On behalf of the of¬ficial organisation of the first, 11-vs-11 football world championship exclusively for government personnel, it is our great pleasure to invite your department/team to the 2018 International Winter World Cup in the Netherlands. The organisation intends to turn this into a large, recurring, annual event, which will be recognised by government personnel across the whole world.

When is it: 
Thursday 11 January up to and including Monday 15 January 2018. Programme ends on Monday 15 January. 

Where is it: 
Marveld Bungalow Resort in Groenlo, The Netherlands. 

What is it: 
An 11-vs-11 football tournament for government personnel Tournament. The football teams from the Netherlands and abroad will compete for the championship cup in three various categories. The teams play 11 on 11 in these categories: 
• Men’s Tournament
• Women’s Tournament 
• Men’s Tournament (35+) 

Who can participate: 
police officers, firefighters, customs officers, military personnel, personnel from the Ministries of Domestic and Foreign Affairs, provincial and municipal officials, and the personnel from various ministries. 

Who else is welcome: 
Family, friends, sponsors, and supporters are also welcome to watch and support their team. Family members, partners, and friends will be charged the same prices as the football players.

Not interested in competing?
If you want to spend a fun long weekend away with your team but you do not wish to compete, you can also stay in one of the many lovely bungalows at the resort. In this case, you do not have to pay a registration fee for the tournament.
